My name is Kristin Jagels and I serve as the Care Manager for CAPS. I have worked with the University since fall of 2019, first as a staff therapist then as Care Manager in 2022. In this role, I provide clinical mental health care to our students under our short term model as well as coordinate connections to mental health services in the community for students who may need longer term or more intensive care. I was appointed to Staff Senate in October 2023 after a vacancy in District 4 and have served on the DEI committee of Staff Senate since that time. I believe that Staff Senate's attention to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility can make a meaningful impact on this campus and I would be honored to continue this work. It has been a joy to work with and represent our amazing colleagues across the University and I would love the opportunity to continue in this role for a full term.
