My name is Abby Schletzbaum and I am the Emergency Management Director with the UNL Police Department. I have served in various nonprofit and government emergency management roles for ten years and am happy to have joined UNL in 2024. In my current role I collaborate with students, staff, and faculty university-wide to educate and advocate for campus safety and emergency preparedness. I am running for staff senate to increase connections across campus and solicit ideas to improve campus safety. I also hope to support staff senate's promotion of employee wellness and engagement through campus-wide collaboration.
