I am excited to run for Staff Senate. I currently work as a Portfolio Research Manager II in the Project Management Office. Previously, I have worked as a grant specialist in the Beadle Business Center and the HAPPI Business Center. I worked closely with Centers for Plant Science Innovation, Biotechnology, and Redox and Departments of Biochemistry and Agronomy/Horticulture faculty on pre-award proposals and post-award financial support. Prior to this, I was a project coordinator in a microbiome lab working on a grant funded project. I enjoy being a part of research during my time at UNL. I am a Nebraska native and alumni of UNL. I care about the issues staff are facing. I also care about the faculty we serve and other services we provide to a more broader base. I am a problem solver and critical thinker. I look forward to an opportunity to serve on staff senate and work with others to ensure the staff senate has a positive impact on the staff experience.
