I have been working at UNL since November of 2021. I started in the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and now I am the Accreditation and Compliance Manager at UNL Police Department. The management of our CALEA accreditation and the university's Clery Act compliance fits within my experience doing similar work at Vanderbilt University and Oregon State University.
I believe I would be a good addition to the Staff Senate give my 18+ years working as staff in higher education across three different universities. This past knowledge and experience from UNL and other institutions gives me examples and knowledge to draw from as we try and make UNL a better workplace for staff.
My family and I have put down our roots here in Lincoln and I have no plans to leave UNL. My hope is to start the hard work to advocate for staff at UNL so we can truly be a great place of employment.
