Prior to arriving in Nebraska, Rebecca Baskerville worked for an international education nonprofit, earned a master’s in public administration, and volunteered with the Peace Corps. From 2011-21, she served as Director of Education Abroad at Nebraska, managing staff, programs, policies, and finances and collaborating with a wide range of campus partners. Rebecca moved to a new role as Associate Director of the University Honors Program in 2021, splitting her time 75/25 with the rebranded Global Experiences Office. She currently teaches and advises Honors students, supports the Future Healers Track and the Intern Foundry program, manages the E.N. Thompson Forum, and coordinates Peace Corps Prep. A lifelong learner, Rebecca has pursued professional certifications and participated in #NCLUDE groups and Leadership Lincoln. She would love to channel her ideas, passion for service, inclusive perspective, and thoughtful approach toward advocating for staff at Nebraska!
