As Director of the Center for Academic Success and Transition (CAST), I have dedicated my career to creating meaningful support systems for students and staff alike. At UNL, I have expanded transfer programming, enhanced academic coaching, and strengthened the CAST four-day summer bridge program—growing its impact and making it more robust to better serve incoming students. With years of experience as both an instructor and a staff leader, I understand the challenges and opportunities we face in higher education. On Staff Senate, I will advocate for stronger collaboration, professional development, and policies that empower staff voices, ensuring we have the resources and recognition needed to thrive.
