With more than eight years of staff experience at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, I have focused on staff development and learning, particularly in areas related to authenticity and inclusion. Key to this work has been facilitating meaningful conversations, ensuring information is shared effectively, and helping translate ideas into action. As a doctoral candidate in the Educational Studies program, specializing in Educational Leadership and Higher Education, I bring a research-informed perspective to understanding the challenges and complexities of higher education institutions. As our university navigates significant external pressures and evolving priorities, staff voices are essential to shaping its direction. I am committed to promoting critical thought and productive dialogue about the impact of these changes on our work and community. If elected to Staff Senate, I will advocate for transparency and collaboration, working to ensure staff perspectives and lived experiences are elevated in conversations that shape our university.
