I have been a UNL employee for 27 years, longer if you count my job as an undergraduate student worker at the East Campus greenhouses. I graduated from UNL with a degree in Horticulture in 1996. I have been involved with the cultivation of research and teaching plant material for over 30 years at UNL. I’m a problem solver and I enjoy helping the researchers with any plant issues they have. I served on the Staff Senate for 6 months as an interim senator (January 2024 to July 2024). I was able to sit in on the Personal Affairs committee during that time and would really like to serve a full term and be a part of that committee again, or any committee that needs me. I am proud to represent my District, my Department and my co-workers.
