Hi all, I'm Avery Anderson-Baer, the Recruitment & Outreach Specialist for the Department of Educational Administration (EDAD). I'm honored to be nominated to run for election and am dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive work environment at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. With a background in higher education, consulting, coaching, and athletics, I have seen firsthand the power of teamwork, communication, and collaboration in achieving success. Over my six years at UNL—as both a student and now a staff member—I have worked closely with colleagues to enhance workplace efficiency, foster professional growth, and create a strong sense of community. Passionate about staff advocacy, I am eager to serve on the Staff Senate to ensure staff voices are heard, concerns are addressed, and opportunities for development are expanded. I believe in building a strong campus culture through inclusivity, shared leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
