Communication is something I truly value, and I can't wait to bring that enthusiasm to the Staff Senate. As many of you know, I work full-time in the Business and Finance office in Canfield, where one of my primary responsibilities is maintaining clear, effective communication with over 500 employees, largely through written business communication. This experience has given me a strong foundation in understanding the importance of clear, concise communication in all aspects of the home of the Big Red, and I aim to bring that perspective to the Staff Senate. One of my core beliefs is the power of individual strengths, which I actively embrace in my work and personal life. I recently retook the StrengthsFinder test and wanted to share my top five strengths with you: Achiever, Harmony, Positivity, Discipline, and Learner. These strengths guide how I approach tasks, interact with colleagues, and strive to create an environment of collaboration and support. I am always eager to learn, improve, and contribute positively to our UNL community.
