With over 28 years of experience in technical support, event production, and project management, I have served in various leadership roles at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) and, since 2011, at the University of Nebraska System Office. Currently, as Assistant Director of Special Event Technology and Executive Support, I oversee IT services for the President’s Office, UNL Administrative Offices, and Husker Athletic Event Technology. Beyond my technical expertise, I am deeply committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming campus community. I have been actively involved in inclusivity initiatives since 2007, serving as president of the Committee for GLBT Concerns and in 2019 as the inaugural chair of the Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Gender and Sexual Identities. My passion for collaboration, advocacy, and community-building drives my desire to serve on the Staff Senate, where I hope to contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment for all.
