Lydia works as a Communications Specialist in Undergraduate Education and Student Success. Her role allows her to interact with a wide variety of staff. She supports communications for UESS units such as CAST, Career Services, and the Explore Center. She collaborates with academic advising leaders spanning all eight undergraduate academic colleges and works with Student Life on initiatives such as Husker Student POWER. Her experience working with colleagues at all organizational levels and partners from many areas of the university provides a unique level of familiarity and understanding of the important work happening daily at the institution. Having served on a variety of advisory boards and committees throughout her career, Lydia is excited at the possibility of directing her experience and cultivated relationships toward advocating for the needs of staff as a member of UNL’s Staff Senate.
