For the past three years, I have been a member of the Engineering Student Services staff team and before that, I worked in University Housing for a little over six years. During my time as a staff member here at UNL, I have been able to build strong relationships with my peers inside my unit and develop strong working relationships across campus. By building strong connections with staff members, I developed a passion for ensuring staff has a positive work experience in order to recruit and retain members to the UNL Staff Community. As the representative for the College of Engineering, I would like to engage with the Task Force on Workplace Culture & Engagement and support their efforts to achieve the nine supporting objectives to improve staff culture and engagement. I will be sure to communicate how progress is being made to support those objectives and listen to peer feedback in order to reflect the needs of the staff in the College of Engineering.
