I am excited for University of Nebraska-Lincoln staff members being represented through the staff senate with an official voice. I joined the University of Nebraska/Lied Center for Performing Arts in 2011 and currently serve as the Deputy Director at the Lied Center. In this role I work with 30+ university staff (full-time, part-time, temporary, and on-call), students, and volunteers. If elected to the staff senate, my primary goal would be to gather ideas, feedback, and concerns from staff members across "District 2: Chancellor" and bring those voices to the senate.
I have served on a variety of boards, including current membership on the Hixson-Lied College of Fine & Performing Arts Alumni Board and as Vice-President for Nebraskans for the Arts, a statewide arts advocacy organization.
