I am excited to be running for a second term representing District Six on the UNL Staff Senate. I have been with Nebraska Extension since the fall of 2014 and am based off-campus at the Douglas-Sarpy Counties office in Omaha, where I co-coordinate the Extension Master Gardener program, leading over 300 dedicated volunteers who help extend the reach of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Serving on the Staff Senate has allowed me to advocate for staff across the university, and I am proud to contribute through the recognition committee. In 2024, we successfully implemented eight staff awards to honor excellence at the All-Staff Conference. I look forward to continuing to represent Nebraska Extension and working to enhance staff recognition, engagement, and development.
