I have worked at UNL for almost 6 years in several different units in multiple colleges. My varied experience at UNL has allowed me to connect with many different staff members and hear about their experiences in their roles at Nebraska. Through my experience at multiple universities, I have been able to see what a necessary and positive impact all staff members have on students and on the operations of the university. I would be excited to represent fellow staff members as a member of Staff Senate. I hope to advocate for support and recognition for staff members who are often thought of last when it comes to the university setting. I see this as a great way to give back to others at UNL who have mentored me and helped me succeed in my time here thus far. I appreciate the great work Staff Senate has done so far and would be honored to be elected.
