Becoming an Affiliate

Affiliate members are those individuals recruited on an as-needed basis for Staff Senate endeavors requiring expertise outside of the current Senate membership. Such expertise may include, but is not limited to, a special skill set, a unique perspective as it relates to a job family or employment status, or knowledge about an issue under consideration by the Senate. Affiliate members do not have voting privileges and are ineligible to hold elected or committee chair positions. Affiliate members are chosen as needed by the appropriate committee chair and approved by the Executive Committee. Length of affiliation is determined by the Executive Committee.
